Part 1:

While attached as Supervisor in one of the local health centres, I had the opportunity to work with a team consisting of various experts who were tasked with rolling out a better internet service to the facility. The group included a new graduate IT student who was working on the project on a temporary basis, the hospital finance manager, two electrical engineers- one male, one female-, and external auditor who would report to the management and the public on the progress of the project.

Part 2:

After few weeks of operation, it became apparent that the team lacked the requisite team work ethics required and thus the project lagged behind. The financial manager was always guilty of releasing funds due to breakdown in communication about the cost of materials, the male electrical engineer was often late to work, and on many occasions the team failed to report for work. As the supervisor, the lateness in implementation is a serious problem that will lead to cost escalation and negative impact on the quality of service offered at the hospital.

Part 3:
