The case of Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition (BPC) is a board created due to necessity and experiences too much growth within a few years while the board members are not actively participative in the activities of the board with the exception of the executive director and founder, Joshua Fielding. After Joshua and his wife moved back to his hometown, they found the environment non-conducive for a bicycle club since the roads were not equipped with lanes for riders or walkways. He made the decision alongside his friends to form a Non-profit organization which would advocate for the issues concerning the safety of other road users other than drivers.
