AbstractChild sexual abuse is a global problem with adverse effects. The estimates of CSA vary a lot depending on the country which is studied upon. This research is aimed to disclose how CSA has been a global problem and what has been making it to e spiraling. Relevant data will be extracted to show how CSA has been growing. There are four conditions that are considered during child abuse; physical neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional maltreatment. Child sexual abuse causes serious risk to health and puts children at risk of sexual victimization.Introduction Child sexual abuse is a type of abusing a child whereby an adult molests a child to get sexual satisfaction. There are several forms of child abuse including indecent exposure of the genitals or female nipples, using children for pornography, engaging in sexual activity with a child either by asking or pressuring the child for the act, oral-genital contact, using a child for prostitution and exposing a child to pornographic content (Brady). CSA can happen either in our homes, schools or workplaces.
