Over the course of the next ten years I see much change happening. I feel one major change is that Hospitals will start to redesign their current focus and processes, before creating and building new facilities. The direction of healthcare is stressing this concept in order to provide better care to patients. They will do this by focusing costs towards lowering readmissions and gathering more research capital on disease prevention. By focusing on these attributes it will provide better quality of care to patients and at a less cost to their out of pocket expenses. In addition, I see that hospitals will focus on the use of RN’s and APN’s in the Care that they provide and offer.
