In my position, working for an adult healthcare facility, I see that technology will be greatly increasingly used over the next ten years to administer healthcare services. Reason for this, is because much of the population, has trouble coming onsite to healthcare facilities, due to health reason and transportation issues. As an example a lot of Medicaid organizations offer transportation for its members, such as Caresource as well as others. This transportation comes at a cost and I foresee that by having Tele health Services incorporated over the next ten years will drastically reduce these costs. Tele health will allow patients and providers to be able to have checkups and follow-ups over video conferencing and monitoring devices. With Technology ever changing it would be hard to believe that it wouldn’t play a key role in the advanced healthcare delivery system over the next ten years and years beyond that.
