. In my opinion, physicians care much about incentive in an effort to prescribe low-cost drugs. To begin, physicians practice capitalism, with the prescription of high drugs or expensive medical procedures guaranteeing their profits. In this respect, medical providers cannot lower their prices and refrain from expensive prescription without an alternative. In the case of physician incentives, the medical providers are in a position to supplement for the loss that they would incur if they voluntarily prescribe low-cost generic drugs or inexpensive healthcare procedure. However, in most scenarios, this plan does not work since medical practitioners will not participate in the efforts of the management of healthcare costs without incentives. Healthcare providers swore to provide clients with the best healthcare during the admission into the practice. Provision of incentive for their duties means they will always coerce the government into falling into their demands before assisting the latter to manage the ever-increasing healthcare costs. In the end, the federal government will be spending money to reduce expenses.
