Camus believed the effort to find meaning in life was absurd. To him, there existed no answer or explanation of life and existence. As for Max, he believed religion was a mere protest against oppression. He wrote that religion was a soul for the soulless. He believes humanity turn to religion to express their misery. This makes religion a mere consolation for the lower classes to protest those in power. On his part, Nietzsche believed Christianity to be a big fraud while Freud thought the faith in God as a childish belief. He argues that peoples' belief in gods' supernatural abilities has no logical explanation as a child's innocent ideas. He thinks man's belief in God is a futile effort to create a reason for existence

All these stands are to be escapist. The reason I am a believer is basically explained by the existence of supernatural phenomena to which atheists term as coincidences. Even science has no adequate explanation for the riddles of existence. There is only one logical explanation of a supernatural power in control. In summary, their reasoning makes me see the sense in religion because unlike the atheist resignation to fate, religion attempts to satisfy the questions.
