My favorite Restaurant

Being one of its biggest fans and Rilakkuma merchandise collectors, a visit to their official Cafe branch in Taipei has become a routine and one of the highlights of my days. The name of the café can be traced back to the fictional character produced by a Japanese company. The character is a widely known for his cute, chubby, lazy, and relaxing features, thus the name Rilakkuma, a shorter Japanese term for Relax Bear.

I remember the first time I went to the café with my aunt Cindy, who would often visit during the first few weeks of summer. The restaurant interior décor that reflects the origin of the name of the café; beautifully covered with pictures and portraits of characters in the Rilakkuma series. The restaurant has also a specific area where ccustomers can take pictures of the displays or use the background in the hotel to take cute pictures. I have so many pictures of the place but this was never the case in the beginning.
