Chapter 17/ Corporations
In this blog, you will begin to research the company you will be using for your final project. Use examples and cite your research from the textbook and internet where applicable.
If a term is BOLDED, please define the term first and then proceed to answer the question. Do 1-4 and then choose one question from 5-8. Consult with your group so you each do a different question. This will help build your research section of the final project. (If you have a group of 5 people, the same question can be used twice).

4. How does your company use marketing public relations to support their sales objectives?
- What kind of product publicity is generated through PR efforts?
- Is there any product placement in TV or other media?
- Are they involved in cause-related marketing?
- Do they do any corporate sponsorships?
- Has there been any viral marketing?

- Do they make any “best-of” lists? (best places to work, best healthcare for a corporation, flexible work schedules, etc.)
- Have there been any lay-offs? How were they handled?
