Collaborative Practice

The field of case management in the healthcare industry is a wide definition of various activities carried out by care managers in the attempt to provide the best care at an affordable cost to the clients. This will often require the managers to engage in the assessment, advocacy, and facilitation of care for different groups of patients with different stakeholders within the industry (Morgan & McKinlay, 2015). Per se, the collaboration of the different group of parties within the healthcare system who individually have different interests requires effective management and quick resolution of any problems faced that could hinder the collaborative efforts. The essence of this analysis is thus to explore the importance and features of successful collaboration and discussion of the challenges that might pose problems to the attainment of the required co-operation levels.
