Part B: Evaluation

There are the various behavioral observation that one can see from the video. The first observation was that the therapist was relaxed and allowed client to speak more. Such kind of observation is what made it easier for the client to appear comfortable in the way she expressed her thoughts and feelings with the therapist. The other behavioral observation is that the therapist showed empathy when the client explains how she would wish to quit smoking as she would not want her son to undergo the same path. It is through empathy that the therapist motivates the client by using the scale mechanism where the client is able to build her own goals.
