You will be write a research essay that includes a proposal, annotated bibliography and an abstract. This will be based on the following topic: The Civil Rights Movement. The questions for the assignment are the following: How did the Civil Rights Movement affect the relationship of the American people and its government? How did the American people react to actions and decisions of the American government on the Civil Rights Movement?. 

The research design MUST have the following.
1. Abstract.

2. Proposal: Write a 200-300-word synopsis based on the research questions above. Remember you are focusing on the Civil Rights Movement and those questions listed above.

3. Informative Annotated Bibliography: Find a minimum of eight sources, half of which must be primary sources, that support your research questions. Discuss how each source supports or contradicts your research question.

4. Research Summary: Write a 500-750-word summary based upon your research and revise your research question. Did the sources you find change your research question in any way?

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STEPS. In addition please be sure to use the proper Chicago style citation and bibliography. Be sure that the page numbers where information was taken (from books, journals, etc), in order to write the paper, is present for the footnotes and bibliography.
