“People Challenge” Interview

This assignment involves describing an interview with a person in a leadership role and how they dealt with a difficult employee who exhibits signs of unmotivated and lazy work ethics. Provide your overall impression of the interview, including:

·         Summarization of the key issue/problem,

·         Describe the steps the interviewee has tried to resolve the problem

·         Describe recommendations that has not been tried by the manager

·         Based on this, describe if you have a different perspective about individual behaviors at work.

The goal of this interview is to:

1.    understand the most significant people related challenge a person is facing at work; and

2.    develop practical response(s) that would help resolve this challenge. 

This is for a course in Organizational Behavior and describe some of the key concepts of motivation, job satisfaction, conflict, decision making, leadership. Relate a problem/issue being faced in the working relationships with others.
