Students have complained recently about the prices of books at the campus bookstore. Many students have mentioned Web-based booksellers as possible alternatives. As a representative of your student government, you've decided to find out what the best alternatives are, and which is the best alternative for students at your school. You decide to compare these alternatives by considering the following: price, availability, book buyback program, and students' thoughts about purchasing books. Summary: Write a 4-6 page first draft of a formal report in which you cover the main “functional headings” criteria outlined on page 184 of our textbook such as purpose, method, data analysis, conclusion, and recommendations.  While writing your report, feel free to create your own “content headings,” as illustrated on page 184.  See also the report sample on pages 190-1. Remember to include in your report a table, a chart, or a graph in which you incorporate some quantitative data. You can think of any details regarding the new building to incorporate in the report. You can use material from other projects that you have worked on in the past in previous courses, but you must rephrase your discourse.  No plagiarism will be tolerated beyond the allowed departmental 5% percentage.
