For your Critical reflection, think about:

How the history of colonialism and slavery is entwined with current day issues that affect the economy, politics, culture and society in the US.

How does this history intersect with migrating populations within the United States and immigration into the US?

What are the various ways in which the discrimination against Black Americans has been practiced in the US and continues to take place?

What are the movements that countered this discrimination and what did they advocate for?

What stories continue to be supressed or distorted by mainstream media and what is the outcome?
