How technology can stimulate learning

Introduction

In the current world, technology in schools is becoming predominant. It has been recognized by the educators who claim that it is important to embrace the use of technological devices in classrooms since it encourages students to learn many things. Learners also describe the use of technology for learning as fun and interesting thus giving them an opportunity to conduct further research. Therefore, the use of technology for learning is significant in that it provides the students with technical and guidance skills that they require to be successful in their future endeavors. This paper hence strives to discuss how technology can stimulate learning.

Methods and Results  

There are various technological devices that stimulate learning in schools. For instance, the use of computers gives learners immediate feedback which encourages them to learn new concepts. They also get to finish their homework on time with the use of the computers (Lajoie et al. 35). In this case, students spend most of their free time researching on what has been taught by the teacher. The computers also encourage the learners to strengthen their skills in letters with the typing activities. It, therefore, gives them an opportunity of gaining more knowledge which makes the students build positive approach towards the various subjects.

Tablets are also technological tools that are motivates learning in the classrooms. Currently, they are more accessible and plays an important role in enriching and encouraging learning. Through it, learners get to enjoy some of the options like having programs for following words in the process of reading a passage and highlighting words that they do not know. The students, therefore, get to be familiar with new vocabularies and complex terms each time they engage in reading exercises. Tablets similarly motivate learning by giving students an opportunity to utilize a variety of learning video programs and games which helps illustrate their thoughts. Through it, the students' confidence and creativity are build which encourages them to learn more complex terms on different topics.
