Nature needs a hand - now!
It all starts with us. It’s our
responsibility to make sure this world will sustain for generations to come.
It’s our responsibility to keep it clean. We have not done a good job so far so
it’s time for us to step up and break the pattern. We need to take
responsibility for cleaning up. It starts with a change of mentality. We start
at home and teach our children to recycle. And no more throwing litter on the
streets or in nature. Stop polluting our planet with your fast food containers,
candy wrappings and soda cans. Stop throwing things out of your window as you
drive. It stops now!
It’s the small things that makes a big
difference. As we become more conscious of the small polution we do and how
easy we can stop and clean up the more it will spread. Start by teaching your
children that it’s not ok to throw litter on the streets. Let the message
spread like rings in the water. Take responsibility and clean up your local
environment. Get everyone involved. It’s not hard. We just need to switch the
focus. And as awareness grows we can influence more and more. Eventually we can
reach politicians and business owners to step up and take responsibility. Have
them think global and help us clean up this mess. It’s not enough to set limits
for additional pollution. It’s too late for that. We need to take action and
clean up the mess we have made on this planet. We need to clean up from the
previous generations. It’s not enough to clean up after ourselves. We need to
clean up after our parents and their parents. They didn’t know better but we
do.
We
need to give nature a hand or there will be no nature for our children.
●
Parents
○
Teach your children to clean
up. It’s NOT ok to throw litter. Put your trash in the bin. Pick up if you drop
something. And point out to others that it’s NOT ok to dump things.
●
Teachers, scholars and
professors
○
Lead by example. Teach your
students that cleaning the environment helps.
○
Arrange clean up days where you
go out and clean up a piece of nature. It’s a mess out there. Nature needs a
hand
●
Trainers, coaches and
influencers
○
Set an example for your
students, teams and followers. Bin it - don’t throw it. Pick up around you.
●
Officers of the law
○
Show it can be done. Pick up
trash when you see it. Tell people it’s not ok to litter the the streets. Set
an example. We all need to do our part.
●
Managers and business owners
○
Have initiatives to go green.
Train your employees in recycling. Keep your green spaces litter free. Go
beyond and reach out to your suppliers and ask what they are doing to avoid
polluting and to clean up from the previous generations.
○
Support cleaning of the oceans,
rivers and lakes. Help clean up the land.
○
Have your teams come up with
ideas how your business can be greener and how you can contribute to clean up
the planet. When we start local we can reach global.
●
Priests, Fathers, Ministers of
the Church, Imams, Rabbis and Kohens
○
You need to tell teach that we
have not followed the messages of the Lord. We need to take responsibility for
the sins of our parents and clean up after them or there will be no tomorrow.
We need to stop polluting ourselves and clean up the mess left to us.
●
Politicians
○
Green initiatives are not
enough. Talking is not enough. We need action. Massive action. Stop trying to
set limits. We need to stop polluting all together now. And start cleaning up
the mess left by the previous generations. Nature needs it. We need it.
○
Support clean up initiatives.
○
Be the first to pick up the
trash and clean the oceans.
We start cleaning up local and as rings in
the water we can clean up global.
Do your part - nature needs it!

Where to focus awareness:
Education
Educational awareness is given. Schools
need to help and teach the children that taking care of our Planet is a shared
responsibility. It will take a generation to get there but it needs to be on
the agenda for all institutions.
Governments
The ruling entities need to focus more on
converting to green initiatives. Everything from tax reductions, grants for
green. The options are vast. But one thing is given. More has to be done and
focus needs to grow before it’s too late.
Social media initiatives:
#mcd #lovingit Take pictures of litter when
people thow it on the streets/nature and post it on social with #mcd #lovingit
#cleanupafteryourself. Maybe McD will realise and start doing something about
the bad behaviour of their clients.
Social media initiatives will force
corporational awareness
Targeting McD is important because the
reach a segment of society that is hard to reach. Getting corporations involved
is crucial in 4 areas:
1)
Reduce footprint - less waste,
less pollution
2)
Greener production -
bio-degradable packing e.g. hemp plastic bottles that degrades in 8 weeks
instead of plastic that degrades in 2000 years (numbers needs verified)
3)
Easier and better disposal
methods
4)
Education of their customers
through in-store campaigns and as part of their marketing
