Personally, I find the triarchic theory of intelligence developed by Robert Sternberg to be

very relevant and encompasses different elements that would pertain to the intellect of an

individual. The triarchic theory purports that there are different distinctive components that

aggregately define intelligence rather than using a single ability. The first component is the

ability to analyze which helps in problem-solving. Then there is the creative intelligence that

helps in coming up with new inventive ideas and finally the contextual intelligence that enables

an individual to easily adapt or assimilate into different environments.
