The National Health Education Standards was primarily developed to institute, support and promote behaviors that are health-enhancing among students in all grades.  It provided a context where administrators, policy makers, and teachers would design or select the curricula, allocate instructional student resources and evaluate the progress and achievements made by the students. The standards also provided the communities, students together with their families' actual prospects for health education. The first standard would enable the students to understand the concepts that relate to the prevention of diseases and health promotion to improve health. The second standard would allow students to analyze the impact of peers, family, media, culture, and technology on health conducts.  The third standard would permit the students to demonstrate their capability to access useful facts, services, and products to improve health
