For the Reaction Essay you need to complete a 2 page essay that incorporates all of these sources as well as an outside peer-reviewed journal source and a final
source. Be sure to include the following:
Develop a thesis statement that focuses on your reaction, opinion or conclusion about the current topic.
Include an introductory paragraph, a concluding paragraph and middle paragraphs that each support the primary thesis statement made in your
introductory paragraph.
Explicitly address and incorporate all four media sources.
Explicitly address and incorporate the peer reviewed journal article that you reviewed for this essay.
Explicitly address and incorporate the second source that you reviewed for this essay.
o This source could be a book, journal article, internet article, website etc. But it CANNOT be your textbook or the PowerPoint slides.
Connect at least one topic from the text or the PowerPoint slides to your discussion.
o Underline your reference to the topic from the text or PowerPoint slides.
o This cannot be the title topic of 'discrimination’ or ‘prejudice’.
Be sure that you have integrated all of your sources to support your thesis.
Use proper spelling and grammar.
Make sure that the paper follows a logical and coherent order.
Include an APA style reference page.
