Ever since I was a young child, I had great quest for education. At a tender ager, I used to accompany my aunt to the stock market. I was fascinated by the large overhead screens, share index numbers, and financial graphs that made me love math. Over the time, I can to appreciate the importance education. Education is an important part of personal growth as it acts as a vessel to navigate the world. Education enable us to communicate with each other, write, read, and do calculations. My love for money has been encouraged by my friends and family. I still visit the stock market with my aunt when I am free where I could help her enter data. I also had the opportunity to help my Uncle to run his pizza shop as a cashier. With the help of my Uncle, I learned to work as a cashier. I learned how to quickly count money, give accurate change and balance the books of account in the evening.

Indeed, I do love to learn about money and everything about it. I am fascinated with numbers and the importance of money in running the economy. I came to realize that people who have a clear understanding of money and how the banking system works are in a position to understand government decisions, corporate decisions and make rational decisions that could enable one avoid financial loss or gain money. I do enjoy mathematics and I believe that having a strong mathematical background could form a perfect basis in which to learn more about finance when doing my major.
