Topic:

Discuss what happens when a character's view or a dream for the future faces a very different reality. Base your essay on one of the readings above. Do not re-tell the story's/play's plot. Analyze the character's reaction when she envisions her future.

Remember: Formal papers go beyond the personal experience perspective of the discussion board postings. Formal papers must demonstrate objectivity supported by the readings themselves not our own personal experience.
