Determinants of Elasticity

The governor of the county of Kansas is said to be leading the county into a financial crisis that will adversely affect the budget proportions. This is according to an article titled “Republicans Keep Repeating the Same Tax Mistake,” that was written by Megan McArdle on March 15^th, 2017. The article talks about the tax cuts and the negative effects that come about from their implementation. According to the article, the republicans think that by making tax cuts or reducing tax in income taxes, people are going to be motivated to work more thereby eventually increasing the tax revenue for the government through a significant increase in the incomes they will be receiving (McArdle). The problem is that the tax cuts does not positively affect the ability of increase in individual performance in the workplace.
