Research plan: Phase two

In the context of public safety organizations, the organizational theory is considered a family of previous analysis of organizations. Therefore, the organizational theory cannot be said to be a single existing theory. However, the organizational theory can be said to be an incorporation of many theories derived from different aspects of organizational analysis over the years. Moreover, the organizational theory cannot be defined as some structured process of ideas or community of knowledge. Nevertheless, it is characterized by different theories and the diverse practical approach taken to implement these existing theories. This said some organizational theories are found to be opposing to one another, others to be competing with the other and some to be adding to the current literature about another existing theory.
