Human relations theory to organizational culture

The aspect of human relations as a whole entails the act of employee satisfaction and provision of a sense of belonging (Alvesson, 2012). Human reactions to scientific management gave management theorists the chance to come up with management practices that focused on the employee aspects instead of the supervisory aspect. The whole goal of an organization conventionally is to gather efforts from all employees and use that to achieve their strategic business goals. However, the employees cannot accomplish this if they do not feel that their work is appreciated. Therefore, human relations theories seem to incorporate the idea of employee satisfaction in the implementation of the relations theories (Alvesson, 2012).

In another view of the human relations theories concerning organizational culture. Communication is seen as the vital aspects of running an efficient organization. To achieve the company’s goals, managers are encouraged of using a two-way approach to communication. The act of communication between a manager and his subordinate should be a simplified process that involves no complicated aspects. Therefore, the kind of communication that should be encouraged in the workplace is the two-way communication (Alvesson, 2012).  Instead of communication being seen as one way where only managers talk to the employees and not the other way round.
