1) Discuss the differences in clinical presentation between a person who is a victim of a chemical vs. a biological event.


2) Research "Lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina". How do these lessons from a natural disaster compare to those learned from the other incidents about which you have read in this course.

3) Analyze the role of the media at all disasters, particularly a terrorist event, and how media presence can impact operations. Discuss how a clearer system of unified command could have helped solve some of the problems related to exposures and public health preparedness.


4) Describe the similarities and differences that you would expect in 1) a"dirty bomb" explosion detonated by a terrorist organization; 2) a nuclear power plant explosion; 3) a large nuclear explosion. Include your treatment, number and types of expected casualties, area of contamination, etc.
