Provide three personal examples and explanation of how I have applied the principles

By studying psychology, I have learned some fundamental principles which have guided me when determining what to look for in individuals around me that could be having psychological disorders. For instance, I have learned how to identify persons presenting with eating disorders based on their symptoms. Rosen et al. (2015) report that usually individuals with eating disorders are likely to complain about constipation, lethargy, and abdominal pain, deny feeling hungry, and engage in binge eating. I am glad to report that the psychology classes enabled me to diagnose my relative with eating disorder based on their manifestation. Important to also note is that through studying psychology I managed to gather useful information about sleep apnea which I happened to present with. As a result, I visited a specialist who did an assessment and arrived at the same diagnosis as mine, that is, sleep apnea. To me, this was a great achievement
