Racial Injustice

Natural law, natural rights and the moral compass are some of the terms that come into mind in consideration of the issue that is racial injustice which has for long been a controversial cause of debate in the American justice and legal systems. Natural law dictates that the authority of legal standards is guided by the benefits that are ingrained in the actualization of moral benefits of those standards (Haakonssen & Seidler, 2015). Natural rights are thus a product of the influence of the moral compass of a society upon the authority of legal standards that exist therein.
