Week Four Interactive Discussion Assignment - 2

Each student will contribute to the twice-weekly class discussions by posting -- for each discussion -- an approximately 250-word response to the assigned readings and course materials. The easy way to approach the asynchronous discussion post is to answer two of the questions posed by the author of our text and the professor. You may, however, write a post that considers the reading in relation to its historical or theoretical context; you may write about an aspect of the days reading that you dont understand, or something that jars or surprises you; you might formulate an insightful question or two about the reading and then attempt to answer your own questions; or respond to another students post, building upon it, disagreeing with it, or re-thinking it. In any case, strive for thoughtfulness, nuance, and originality.
