Bullying and workplace violence are some of the issues nurses encounter while executing the duties. According to reports a significant percentage of the nurses around the world have experienced such treatment either from the patient, family members or people above them at one point in their career. It is quite unfortunate that despite the efforts nurses put into the well-being of their patients, they have to be subjected to such injustices. As much as a patient and family members have the right to demand quality health care, bullying and physically harming a nurse is unacceptable and should be treated as any other offense under the law
