The delegation to Korea needs to be more candid at exploring various options that can be used to
mitigate threats to international peace and security because of terrorist acts. One actions which they need to
do is to petition for the UN to provide more finances which will be directed towards supporting peacekeeping missions in various parts of the world where such conflicts occur (Parker et al., 2019). The action
will be highly significant in helping to safeguard the lives of people found in such countries. They will be
more likely to lead highly desirable lives which will be free from the negative effects of international
terrorism.
Further, they need to call for the coordination between the UNSC and leading world powers to
provide funding towards intelligence gathering and sharing as well as direct military activity against
international terror groups such as ISIS. The action will be highly essential in enabling the parties involved
to acquire pertinent information which will be critical towards safeguarding the lives of people in various
countries (Parker et al., 2019). They will also manage to reduce the power of the terror groups to the level
that they will not manage to conduct their acts of aggression against civilians.
The delegation also needs to call for the establishment of proper international policies that touch on
money laundry and funding towards terror groups. The action will also be essential in reducing the level of
financial strengths which such groups normally have (Parker et al., 2019). The situation will reduce the
ability of the groups to advance their actions that could be highly disastrous towards other people. It will
also enable governments to clamp down terror within their borders because of having proper control over
such groups.
