Generally, most human beings have for a long time been curious about what the universe is like. In the process, they have been engaging in exploration to prove the existence and formation of other heavenly bodies. However, the most successful effort of outer space exploration has been studying the moon, its formation, and its rotations. The first man, Neil Armstrong, landed on the moon on 20th July 1969 despite lack of modern technology. Even though there have been drastic efforts by other explorers to visit the moon, one issue is elusive, a clear understanding of the formation of the moon. There is need to examine various hypotheses such as the Giant impact hypothesis of moon formation
