Write an abstract for your paper/presentation. An abstract should be about one paragraph long, 100-200 words, and it should express your argument in a clear and concise fashion.  It should contain your thesis and briefly lay out your main ideas.

Attached is the first draft but the thesis has changed. Please create the thesis to focus solely on the first part of your thesis, which argues that Futurism served as propaganda that promoted violence. Then, instead of bringing in social media, turn your attention to the paintings of the movement and explore the ways Futurist artists used violent and intense imagery to promote their message. While there are parallels between Futurism and the contemporary examples you cite, they seem more coincidental than intentional - that is, ISIS isn't modeling themselves after the Futurists.  Also, your treatment of Futurism and fascism needs greater nuance. You tend to equate the 2 movements, and while many Futurists eventually supported Mussolini, I'm sure you know that many others were staunch leftists. You should explore the complexities there. But again, most important thing is to bring this back to the visual arts, incorporate images into your discussion of poetry.
