Most fundamentally, the information helps to show the doctrines of the different candidates (Stonecash, 2018). Thus, the voter aims to establish whether the ideologies of the political candidate align with his values. Further, the ratings of particular interest groups regarding a candidate are essential in showing an individual whether he might be willing to offer them the necessary support or not.
