Part 1--Thesis Statement

The western part of the United States of America is among the places with a high population of immigrants in the United States of America. Immigrants in the American West have had varied experiences. Some have faced hostilities from the natives, others are worried about the immigrant policies, and others have challenges with religion. Although immigrants have benefited the economy of American West in various ways, the controversy over the increasing population of immigrants has arisen. Some states in the Western Parts of the United States have enacted immigrant policies threatening the stay of immigrants in such states. Therefore, immigrant experiences in the Western parts of United States are not uniform; it varies depending on the state policies, the contribution of the immigrants, the objectives of the immigrants, and the perception of the locals about the immigrants.
