Nowadays there is a lot of content which is available online due to the adoption of the internet which is a modern medium of facilitating sharing of information. There have been many questions raised pertaining the censorship content which is shared through the internet. The Internet is all about the world, and its content can be easily and quickly shared by individuals from different geographical regions. It is imperative to suppress some of the unacceptable parts of a certain information before sharing it online through difference social media platforms. Censorship enhances maintenance of good conduct in the society, and it enables people to live harmoniously because it prevents a lot of controversies in amidst interaction of society members. There should be clampdown of some internet content such as porn and other sexual related information (Schell, 2014). Information on terrorism and racism should be censored because it creates hatred between different religions and races. However, relevant organizations should make sure that rules and regulations regarding censorship of internet content are clearly stipulated.
