1)What first prompted you to apply to University of San Diego’s MBA Program? (suggested word count: 250 words maximum)*

A: I've always wanted to attend USD since I was in Catholic middle school but couldn't afford to pay for Grad School tuition. I'm very excited and blessed to have the opportunity to qualify for my employers scholarship program, over 90% of my tuition will be covered. It's always been a dream to have the opportunity of getting my school paid for. I'm motivated now more than ever to make the most of my opportunity and earn a MBA. My employer is also encouraging me because it allows me to pursue my dream of being in Supply Chain Management.

2) What are your career goals and how will an MBA from USD help you to achieve your goals? (suggested word count: 500 words maximum) *
A. Its my goal to earn an MBA in Supply Chain Managent. Its also been a life long passion to use my education towards a leadership role. It will be interesting to use the information I learn from the case studies towards my own work. It will also be rewarding to contribute towards the development of others.

3) What would you like your future USD MBA classmates to know about you? (80 words maximum) *
Hard working leader who wasn't afraid to share his learning experiences with the class. Also has someone who was very involved with community service.

Literacy Through Character

Literacy Through Character is a program where USD students can help juvenile youth practice literacy through discussion and writing activities at the local Kearny Mesa Juvenile Hall Facility. By discussing topics such as respect and goals, the youth can practice their critical thinking and discussion skills along with their writing capabilities. This program starts at the beginning of each semester and continues throughout the semester.
