Essay instructions:

You will write a 300-word, academic essay (using a five-paragraph essay model and adding body paragraphs as your topic requires), in which you discuss your research into ONE significant issue that the world's bodies of water face. You can discuss a problem in the oceans, such as plastic pollution or acidification, or a problem in rivers or in our water supplies. Just be sure to choose only ONE concrete problem to research and present. 

Your essay must include a Bibliography, with no less than TEN entries in it. The bibliography must not include nonacademic sources, like wikipedia or Ask, and it must be in MLA format. 

Your grade will be impacted by: organization, transitions between paragraphs, overall grammar, use of research/quotes, and proper use of MLA format in the bibliography.
