Material handling encompasses the functionality of regulatory process and flow of materials in and out of manufacturing companies. In this context, better material handling ensures that safety precautions are observed when managing materials from raw material stage to the final stages for storage purposes. These techniques have boosted the performance appraisal of several manufacturing companies on the basis it reduces chances of material damage and cost of production. As observed by Choe (2015), material handling sensitizes on monitoring and observance of a full cycle of operations in all departments of manufacturing organizations. In this regard, any possible risk of mismanagement and ineffective use of the material would be recognized and eliminated accordingly.
