You are required to do the following tasks:
a) Select an international ( overseas) subsidiary of Barclays in a country of your choice and analyse its liquidity risk performance over the last five years (or the latest available years) and compare it with the overall liquidity risk performance of Barclays’ parent company (the group) . (around 700 words) 

b) Analyse the competitive environment in the banking sector of the country that this Barclays subsidiary is located and discuss its potential effects with regards to the liquidity position and credit risk of the subsidiary. (around 600 words) 

c) Identify three factors that could have contributed to Barclays financial performance in the country where the Barclays subsidiary that you have chosen is located. Then analyse theoretically how each of these factors could have influenced (positively or negatively) the financial performance of the subsidiary. (around 1,200 words)
