Background

The purpose of this assignment is to engage you with a topic of current political relevance in the state of Texas and relate it to the content in Module 2, specifically the separation of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. Please read the assigned article (below) and think about its implications for the government and people of Texas.

You will formulate your reactions to the assigned article and thoughtfully relate them to what you are learning in Module 2. Please follow these requirements carefully:
