The factors that modify toxicity include gender, diet, and lifestyle, diseases, genetics, and age. The female will be highly affected by the toxins due to the differences in pharmacodynamics such as gastrointestinal motility, lower body weight, and decreased intestinal enzymatic movement compared to the man. The suppressed immune system can also increase the levels of toxins, unlike the male who is healthy with a good immune system. Consumption of alcohol can also increase the levels of toxins of the female because of potentiation or synergism. Also, the longer the female is being exposed to the toxins, its level will increase due to her various biochemical and developmental changes such as fat composition, metabolism, and hormonal changes. These changes reduce the body resistance of the female to fight the toxins compared to the male.
