Lean Six Sigma is a statistical tool, which aims at producing an error-free result. It is a standard deviation that describes how there is variation in the average value of a population sample. On the other hand, Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO) is a statistical tool, which indicates the number of variation per one million opportunities. Lastly, System Thinking refers to the idea of viewing an organization as a place opened for interdependencies and connectedness rather than an enclosed area of professionalism only. System thinking is an idea of Peter Senge who provides five principles that qualify an individual as a systems thinker. These principles include systems thinking, personal mastery, mental models, team thinking, and shared vision.
