Legal Counsel and Intelligence Agency Leadership The leadership of legal counsel and intelligence agency plays vital roles in the surveillance and reconnaissance planning. The legal counsels are responsible for advising the workers on the tactics, laws warrants and equipment that are required during reconnaissance and surveillance planning. They also aid in setting requests for authorizations for reconnaissance and surveillance. On the other hand, the intelligence agencies are responsible for ensuring that all the required paperwork for warrants and equipment are filled in an appropriate manner (Richelson, 2018). They hence follow the regulations and laws for the jurisdiction since every nation may have different laws regarding the reconnaissance and surveillance. The roles of the legal officers and intelligence agencies are crucial since they are involved in the essential activities in the planning. They are the ones which contribute to the success of the reconnaissance and surveillance planning; hence, they need to perform their duties accordingly (Dupont, 2003). However, there are situations where conducting a field operation on multiple suspects may need multiple legal offices. An example of the situation is where a particular agency does not have the required number of the counsel team and planning of surveillance and reconnaissance may not be complete in their absence. For this case, the planning for the operation will require the use of various legal offices to find the required individuals to perform the paperwork, warrant and advise the workers effectively on how the operation is to be conducted. This, therefore, means that planning for such operations may require various legal counsels from different offices for the success of the operation. References Richelson, J. T. (2018).
