In support with Zacharias’ thoughts, Islamic threat is not a significant challenge to the Western nations. Firstly, even though most terrorists are Muslims, Muslims are not terrorists. The fact that a few criminals of a particular religion commit a crime, it does not mean that the whole faithful are criminals. Secondly, the threat the west is feeling concerning Islam is self-imposed. This claim is because the animosity between the West and Islam was because of wrong action by the West to invade Middle East countries because of the acts of a few of its citizens. In this respect, they cannot claim Muslim states are a threat to the west existence.
