The system I would propose to the monthly practice meeting should be one that has a simple patient scheduling mechanism probably on first come first serve basis. It should also have an intelligent patient analyzer so as to attend to the most critical cases on time. The parameters for this prioritization are to be debated in the meeting. It should be able to generate good reports too. Furthermore, my system emphasizes on user-friendliness. It should make use of graphical symbols and images to guide both patients and the physicians. It should finally be up to date in the technology used. This should include mobile application versions too. System Implementation First, select a perfect System model from vendors. And have them customize the system to fit the organization. Should be done in a month. The system is to be implemented in phases. This is to mean that one part of the system is integrated at a time. First, start with the patient records entry to ensure the database is well backed up. At this time other parts of the organization should still be on the previous system to avoid total closure in case of failure. Each phase implementation should be done in a week so as to have the system running in a month. The staff should have a week's training session on the system functionality. They are provided with a dummy database where they use themselves as the patients. Training is done by department heads.
