The idea that America won the Second World War is proving to be a problem in the post-American world. This argument is because, naturally, America relaxed, as it believed that it is the best in the world. However, the current pace at which things are changing globally means that the U.S has to adapt faster. The relaxation by the U.S is leading to the emergence of a developing nation, China, to be the leading leader of the world. America is also facing the challenge of nuclear power by global minnows such as North Korea and Iran. Similarly, to other global powers that fought in the war, it seems that the U.S is heading in a quiet background as former global power, Japan.
